Like growing our own food in our garden & planting trees and flowers in our garden. We can make good choices to make affect the future of our planet, There is a way to care for the resources for survival,Īnd it is called reduce, reuse, and recycle. The Earth has natural resources That we use every day. That would energize our heads through feet. Grown-ups say blah-blah, as children say Da-Da.Īnd the planer is called Earth, who does these deeds. Let's love this planet with all it's worth There is wonder everywhere, and it's waiting inside. That's it! Space Place invites you to celebrate these occasions by submitting a poem about Earth. Give students time to work on their answers. Ask students to answer the questions while looking at this landscape. Pass out the If You Were in This Picture activity sheet. ![]() Display the image so the class can view it. Explain that sometimes artistsĬhoose to make images of real places and sometimes they choose imaginary places. Tell students that they are going to focus on a landscape. What does it look like? What is in the foreground? Middle ground? Background? From what point of view are they seeing thier landscape? Ask students to re-create this place in their imaginations. Ask students to describe their meaningful place using the new words from the Introduce the vocabulary list for Looking at Landscapes. Ask them to "freeze frame" that image in their Ask them to think of all the details they can remember about a typical day at this place, such as the weather, what was nearby, who they were It can be a place they have visited, their homeland, or a place they have lived in the United States.
